DAX III: time intelligence, semi-additive measures, statistics and quick measures

What the unit teaches

Write fiscal year-to-date, prior-year, period-shift and rolling-window measures with TOTALYTD/DATESYTD (year end "06-30"), SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR, DATEADD, PARALLELPERIOD and DATESINPERIOD, and predict their value in any month
State the date-table prerequisites of classic time intelligence, including why a table related on an integer DateKey must be marked as a date table
Build a semi-additive closing balance with LASTDATE, LASTNONBLANK or CLOSINGBALANCEMONTH/YEAR, and choose between them when the last period has no data
Use basic statistical functions (MEDIAN, STDEV.P/S, PERCENTILE.INC, their X versions, RANKX) and avoid the blank-row trap of RANKX
Create a measure with quick measures, read the DAX it generates, and know when quick measures are unavailable
Name the costs: iterator cost of LASTNONBLANK and X statistics, misleading partial periods, and the date-table requirement
