Security and governance: roles, item access, RLS and sensitivity labels

What the unit teaches

Assign the least-privileged workspace role (Admin, Member, Contributor, Viewer) for a given job, and know which roles row-level security restricts
Give access to a single report or semantic model without a workspace role: share links, Reshare and Build, direct access on the semantic model
Explain the semantic model permissions Read, Build, Reshare and Write, and which workspace roles hold them implicitly
Implement static and dynamic row-level security roles in Power BI Desktop with USERPRINCIPALNAME, and test them with View as and Test as role
Configure role membership in the service with users and supported group types, and predict what a user in two roles sees
Apply sensitivity labels and explain inheritance and what happens on export
Name the costs of each control: administration, model complexity, performance and the risk of a false sense of security
